CrowdShare, LLC (“CrowdShare,” “we,” “us,” “our”) provides a social media marketing, publishing, scheduling, collaboration and analytics platform (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard information when you visit our website, use our Services or connect third party social media accounts such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, X, LinkedIn and YouTube (collectively, “Third Party Platforms”).
This Privacy Policy applies globally. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights described in the Region Specific Disclosures section.

When you connect a Third Party Platform account, the platform may share data with us based on (a) the permissions you grant, (b) the account type, (c) the platform’s policies and (d) the platform’s product capabilities. We only request the minimum permissions needed for the features you enable.
Depending on the platform and permissions granted, we may receive or access:

Some platforms restrict what developers may store, for how long and how it must be deleted. We design our retention and deletion processes to honor platform rules and user requests.

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate protections.
6.4 Legal and Safety
We may disclose information to comply with law, regulation, subpoena, court order or other legal process, or to protect rights, safety and security of CrowdShare, our users or others.
6.5 With Your Direction
We share information when you request it, such as exporting reports, inviting teammates, connecting integrations or enabling public sharing features.
7. Data Retention
We retain Personal Data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and meet platform requirements.
Typical retention considerations include:

Account data: retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure to allow reactivation, backups and dispute resolution

Content and assets: retained per your settings and while you maintain them, then deleted or de identified consistent with our deletion processes

Third Party Platform data: retained only as needed to provide the enabled features and consistent with platform policies, permission scopes and contractual requirements

8. Data Deletion and Account Closure
You can request deletion of your CrowdShare account and associated data by:

After verifying your request, we will delete or de-identify data as required by law and as technically feasible. Some data may be retained for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security or legitimate business purposes.
Connected Accounts: You can also revoke our access at any time through the relevant Third Party Platform’s settings. Revoking access may prevent us from providing connected features. Some platform data that was previously retrieved may remain in our systems until deleted under our retention schedule or your deletion request.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect Personal Data, such as access controls, encryption in transit and monitoring for suspicious activity. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14.2 United States (State Privacy Laws)
If you reside in a state with privacy laws such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia or others, you may have rights to access, delete, correct and opt out of certain processing. CrowdShare does not sell Personal Data for money. We may use limited forms of online analytics and advertising that could be considered “sharing” under some laws. Where required, we provide opt out mechanisms.

16. Platform Specific Notices (Meta, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube)
CrowdShare integrates with Third Party Platforms to provide publishing, scheduling and analytics features. When you connect an account, you authorize us to access certain data and perform actions as permitted by the platform and your granted permissions.

YouTube and Google Data

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last Updated” date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice as required by law.
